A State Champion Tiger!
A State Champion Tiger! The Loveland City School District is honored to announce our new State Champion – Loveland High School (LHS) Senior Andrew Alten! Alten won in the 285 class of Division I wrestling Sunday, March 2, at the State Wrestling Finals at the Schottenstein Center on the campus of the Ohio State University.

“We are so proud of Andrew and the entire wrestling program,” said Julie Renner, district director of student athletics. “The team had a total of five state qualifiers this year: Jordan Paul, Michael Weber, Seth Brennock, James Caniglia and Andrew. We are proud of all of these Tigers!”

Alten was also an Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) Champ, Sectional Champ and the District Champion for the 2013-2014 season. He is coached by Chris Switzer, head coach of the Loveland High School Wrestling Program with assistant coaches Jim Dorsey, George Loukoumidis, Brian Conatser and Rafael Penso.
