Get questions answered: LHS hosts drug awareness evening for parents
Loveland High School (LHS) will host a drug awareness presentation for all interested district parents 7 p.m. Monday, April 28, in the LHS Auditorium. An agent with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations will join Loveland Police to provide tips designed specifically to help parents recognize signs of drugs.
“The Loveland City School District has worked closely with the Loveland Police Department to bring this presentation to our parents,” said Loveland Superintendent Chad Hilliker. “Our priority is the wellbeing of our students, and we want to partner with our parent population on this topic to ensure we are current with relevant information about what to look for and what to do to keep our children safe.”
The Loveland Police Department encourages parents to come with drug-related questions, as a large portion of the presentation will be dedicated to providing answers. In addition, officials will present an overview of trends locally and across the state.
