Hoops for Heart scores big success
Loveland Intermediate School (LIS) students scored big in fundraising for the American Heart Association’s Hoops for Heart Program, which was incorporated into physical education classes Friday, March 21. Students raised more than $5,600 to donate to the cause.
“I could not be prouder of the student effort, and the community support we received,” said Garth Carlier, LIS principal. “This was an outstanding event for a worthy cause.”
The American Heart Association works to build healthier lives free from heart disease and stroke.
