Loveland High School Senior Awards Night
Loveland High School Senior Awards NightThe Loveland City School District salutes the Loveland High School (LHS) class of 2014 for earning a total $13,055,423 in scholarships. LHS honored individual scholarship recipients at the annual Senior Awards Night ceremony Thursday, May 15, at the LHS Auditorium. In addition, members of the class were recognized for outstanding academic achievement.

National Merit Scholarship
Based upon outstanding PSAT results, LHS recognized three students who named as a National Merit Finalists: Nuria Alonso, Erin Ellis and Anne Lehmann. LHS recognized seven students named as Commended Students: Katherine Borger, Jennifer Hadley, Rita Maricocchi, Camille Mennen, Jacob Price, Perry Strong and Eli Taylor.

National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP)
The NHRP was initiated in 1983 to identify outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school students based on GPA and test scores. This year, the NHRP is recognizing about 5,300 Hispanic/Latino students selected from a pool of over 259,000. LHS recognized Nuria Alonso who was selected as a 2013-14 National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar.
