Competition for a good cause
Loveland Intermediate School (LIS) was the center of fun and fundraising for the annual LIS Dodgeball Tournament Thursday, Feb. 18. More than 400 students joined together to compete and raise more than $1,800 – a majority of the money the students donated to help a family in the district.
“I really appreciate all of the efforts of our students and our staff for keeping this LIS tradition alive,” said LIS Principal Garth Carlier. “This is one more example of our students helping their peers – and that is part of what makes LIS the special place it is for children to learn.”
