School alerts
The Loveland City School District is in the process of switching to a new text message based mass alert system which operates in conjunction with our website. For the balance of this school year we will utilize both Penn-Alert and the text message systems for emergency alerts. Next year (2013-2014) will be text message only.

If you have already set up a user account for the district website please proceed to option 1 to set up your message notification. If you have not set up an account or do not know if you have set up an account, use option 2 for the user account creation process.

We ask that you please log into the district website and sign up for the new system as soon as possible.

OPTION 1 (Use if you already have a Loveland Schools website account.)

• Go to www.Lovelandschools.org
• Click on “Subscribe” located at the bottom of the Quick Links
• Log in to your account
• Click on Manage My Account & Subscriptions
• Click on the Contact Preferences section and enter your email, cell phone and cell carrier information. (Cincinnati Bell wireless is AT&T/Cingular) Click Save.
• Next, click on Dashboard Preferences, check the School Closings box and any other information you choose to receive. Click save.
• You are now ready to receive text messages for school closings.
• If you have chosen to receive other notifications and change your mind you can remove them at any time.

OPTION 2 (Use if you need to set up a new Loveland Schools website account.)

• Go to www.Lovelandschools.org
• Click on “Subscribe” located at the bottom of the Quick Links
• Step One: Personal Information. Provide the information as requested. Click Continue.
• Step Two: Contact Preferences. Provide the information as requested.
   o Enter your email, cell phone and cell carrier information. (Cincinnati Bell wireless is    AT&T/Cingular) Click Continue.

• Step Three: Dashboard Preferences. Provide the information as requested.
   o Check the “School Closings” box and any other information you choose to receive. Click    continue.

• Step Four: Confirm and Submit. When you have confirmed your information click Submit.

Congratulations you are now ready to receive school closing information!
