Athletics

Loveland’s athletic program enhances the educational experience of our students by adding opportunities for character development and fun. We encourage attitudes of integrity and fairness, respect for others, and dedication to goals. As a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the Fort Ancient Valley Conference, Loveland athletic departments sponsor a variety of sports during all seasons.

Loveland High School placed second in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference All-Sports Award during the 2004-05 school year. Additionally, Loveland High School athletes received the fourth annual Henry A. Meyer Ethics, Integrity, and Sportsmanship Award in recognition of their outstanding sportsmanship.

The following 2004-2005 Loveland High School teams won FAVC Championships in the Buckeye Division: Girls Tennis, Boys Cross Country, and Girls Softball.

The following student athletes were state qualifiers in 2004-2005:

Jesse Holland and Lindsay King — Tennis, Double Team
Sarah Leeper — Cross Country
Margaret Fowler, Kristin Tarcey, Megan Stewart, and Cara Lennon — Swimming
