Our Community

The Loveland School District is 20 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The District covers more than 15 miles and overlaps three counties—Hamilton, Clermont and Warren. The District surrounds the City of Loveland and reaches into Symmes, Goshen, Hamilton and Miami Townships. The District serves a population of 50,000 residents, including the City of Loveland. The area is primarily residential with minimal industry. Most residents work in the greater Cincinnati area in many of the major corporations that have their headquarters or manufacturing centers located along the I-275 beltway. Attractions
Residents and visitors share in diverse attractions that have made Loveland a wonderful place to live or visit. These attractions include:
Scenic Loveland Bike Trail extending 70 miles into central Ohio.
Loveland Historic District featuring antique stores, unique shops, coffee house, tea shop and restaurants located directly on the bike trail.
Loveland Castle (Chateau La Roche) or “rock castle” constructed on the banks of the Little Miami River in the tradition of medieval architecture. Open for tours.
Grailville serving as a retreat for women founded to study ecological, spiritual and justice issues.
Historic Loveland Museum capturing Loveland’s lively past including the Rich Log Cabin built in 1797.
Veteran’s Memorial Park honoring Loveland’s service men and women.


Annual Events
Heritage Weekend (April) involves local artists demonstrating traditional 1800s crafts.
Music in the Park (May-September) offers Sunday night musical shows performed by school and local bands.
Artsapalooza (September) offers a 5K run for the arts, music and arts and craft show featuring the work of local artists.
Victorian Harvest Bazaar (November) celebrates the fall harvest with an arts and craft show.
Christmas in Loveland (December) rings in the holiday season with Olde Loveland decorated in its best holiday dress.
