This website has a lot of cool information about Inventions and Inventors. You must join, but it just requires an email address. It includes inventions by different groups as well as "weirdo" inventions. There is also a section for kid inventors. This site is the site for 2004-2005 Xerox National Invention Competition, but has great resources for planning an invention project.
