Arts Edge - The Kennedy Center created this compelling site, which features all aspects of the arts: music, dance, fine arts, and more. An awesome resource for students, teachers, parents, and art lovers.

The Classical MIDI Archives - There are 3,230 classical music files here in MIDI format, with an alphabetical listing by composer. Some of the more famous have their own separate links, with pieces. My computer played the pieces, but I would recommend a decent MIDI plug-in. (They offer a download.) This is a good page if you are researching a certain piece of music or movement.
