This online activity has the student estimate lenght, quantity, or area. They can control how close they need to be to the true answer, how difficult the problem is, and if a grid is given to help with the estimate.

Shape Explorer

In this online activity students are shown shapes on a grid and asked to calculate areas and perimeters of the shapes.
