	Spelling at Harcourt School http://www.harcourtschool.com/menus/auto/18/52.html This site has two types of spelling activities. In one students examine a group of words, pick out the one that is spelled incorrectly, and then spell it correctly. In the other students rearrange scrambled letters to form words. There are dozens of levels of difficulty and cute animations and sounds.
	Fun with Plurals game http://school.eb.com/student/games/GE_3_10/GE_3_10.htm In the game from Encyclopedia Britannica students must pick the correct ending to make a word plural.
	Prefixes, Suffixes, and Roots - Prefix Catch http://www.northcanton.sparcc.org/~elem/interactivities/prefixcatch/prefixcatch_sr_content.html Catch the falling prefixes in the wolf's basket....but be sure to avoid the suffixes and roots or you'll lose points!
	Capitalization http://webster.commnet.edu/grammar/capitals.htm This is an excellent site explaining capitalization. Here you will find explanations, an online quiz, and a fantastic PowerPoint presentation you can download for use in class.
	Definitions of Basic Sentence Parts http://webster.commnet.edu/grammar/definitions.htm This web site has extensive information on all the parts of speech as well as quizzes the students can take online to check their understanding.
	Grammar Gorillas http://www.funbrain.com/grammar/index.html This game gives the student a sentence and then has them identify a specific part of speech. There are two levels: Beginner (nouns and verbs only) and Advanced (all parts of speech).
	Pronouns http://www.oswego.org/testprep/ela4/o/pronounsl.cfm This colorful web site teaches about pronouns and then has an interactive quiz to test what was learned.
	Parts of Speech at BrainPOP http://www.brainpop.com/english/grammar/partsofspeech/index.weml Here you can watch a cute but informative animated video about the parts of speech, including nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. In addition you can take a quiz, do some activities, and more. Note: You can only view 2 movies per day without a subscription.
	Wacky Web Tales http://www.eduplace.com/tales/ This is an online version of Madlibs, where the students can brush up on their parts of speech, while having fun making a silly story.
	ReviseWise - Adjectives and Adverbs http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/revisewise/english/spelling/18_act.shtml This web site uses colorful animation and great explanations to teach about adjectives and adverbs. After the instruction, the students can take an online quiz to assess their understanding.
	Using Adverbs http://www.oswego.org/testprep/ela4/g/useadverbsl1.cfm This site has clear and colorful explanations about adverbs. From this main page there are links to additional adverb lessons and many interactive games and quizzes to test what was learned.
	Subject-verb agreement http://webster.commnet.edu/grammar/sv_agr.htm This is a great web site with lots of info on subject-verb agreement, including explanations, quizzes, and a PowerPoint presentation.
