	Author's Purpose http://www.oswego.org/testprep/ela4/a/authorspurposel.cfm This site teaches about the three purposes for writing with easy to understand examples. There is also a quiz for students to see if they can identify the author's purpose.
	Stories Online http://teachers.yourhomework.com/SMHerook/reading.html This is a great collection of sites that offer online leveled reading. The sites are included using Guided Reading levels as an indicator. Additional stories will be added as they are reviewed and leveled.
	Free online books http://www.readinga-z.com/newfiles/preview.html Here you will find 30 free leveled books (Levels A to U). The books can be easily printed out and many include additional worksheets. Although these 30 books are free, you have the option to subscribe to the site to get access to more.
