Anti-Bullying

Anti-Bullying

Loveland City Schools is fully committed to curbing student bullying and school violence. As part of our commitment, the district is initiating a new, integrated program, developed by former school officials.  This program provides:

a) online and telephone reporting tools for students, parents and staff

b) student training regarding the need to speak up about safety and bullying issues

c) staff training in recognizing and responding to incidents of bullying and violence

d) administrative systems to manage incidents and document district and school response to reported concerns of bullying or violence.

We believe our schools play an important role in helping staff and parents prepare students to be respectful and responsible citizens.  However, if a bullying incident occurs, we encourage students to report it.

PublicSchoolWORKS offers several options for students and parents to report bullying and other safety issues – any, all, or none of which may be anonymous (a district decision).  PublicSchoolWORKS support personnel can discuss other alternatives and help you decide which is best for your district.  To visit their website for additional information, or to report a bullying incident, click Stay Safe Speak Up below:

Pursuant to House Bill 276, the District is required to annually post the number of reported bullying and harassment incidents that occur in each of our buildings.
