Mini Teacher Grants

Mini Grants

Since 2001, the Foundation has offered mini grants to the faculty and administrators of the district.  At a designated time during each school year, applications are accepted for funding for creative projects which cannot be funded through regular channels of school finance. Selections are made on the  innovative ideas of the teacher to create a superior learning  environment and can be awarded for new equipment, supplies, outside  speakers, conferences, seminars, or other expenses the teacher might  incur to reach his/her stated goal.

2015 Mini Grant Applications

At this time, applications are invited for competitive educational grant awards from the Loveland Schools Foundation for the academic school year 2014-2015.  The Foundation will accept grant requests for up to $300.00 each for a total not to exceed $3,000.00.  Applications intended for consideration must be fully completed.
Under this program the Foundation may award grants for the support of proposals which may include, but are not limited to, requests for conferences, seminars, academic classroom projects, supplementary texts and other reading materials, supplies, equipment, outside speakers, honoraria or other expenses you expect to incur to reach your stated goals.  Every effort should be made to ensure that the proposal contains all pertinent information when originally submitted.  The grant application must be submitted by a teacher in the Loveland City School District and received by the Foundation Board of Trustees no later than Friday, February 20, 2015.  All proposals received will be acknowledged.  Proposals that do not fall within the guidelines as stated, will be eliminated from the program competition, and the applicant will be notified in writing.
A committee consisting of Foundation Board of Trustees members will review each proposal and final funding decisions will be made and recipients will be notified  during the week of March 9, 2015.
The executive director of the Foundation will assist in the ordering of materials requested by the grant recipients and will facilitate the payment of speakers honoraria, travel expenses, etc., if applicable.

Please submit proposals by Friday, February 20, 2015 to:
