Scholarships

Scholarship money is presented each year to graduating high  school seniors at the Senior Awards Night Program in May. These  scholarships are given to seniors to implement high education at an  accredited university or college who, in addition to a strong academic  background, have participated in a wide range of extracurricular  activities and community service projects, and have shown a strong work ethic.

While the Foundation recognizes that a strong academic background is conducive to success in a higher education program, members of the Board of Trustees also recognize the needs of students attending a two year college program and technical schools.  Therefore, students interested in furthering their education in any capacity beyond high school are encouraged to apply for one of the Foundation scholarships which does not specify a particular major.  For all scholarships, when all criteria have been met and are equal, financial need is the determining factor.

Students should check with the guidance department at the high school beginning in mid to late February for the posting of Foundation scholarships which will be given that year.
